Pickup trucks were once used for, well, picking up stuff. They were a little rough around the edges, maybe a sticky stick shift and heat that only worked sometimes. But you could fill up the bed with full sheets of plywood, or the remains of a kitchen remodeling job. Great Old Trucks made you feel like accomplishing something... that you had and that you could.
