When Rhonda is called to a private residence to investigate a murder, she finds this is the site of the twenty-fifth-class reunion for her former partner, Phil. With her new partner, Martin, she is forced to question all the classmates regarding the murder of Pete Potter, even Phil. Pete has been found floating in a small lake on the property. The owner of a local insurance agency it's hard telling who would want him dead. When it's revealed he's a transvestite, the suspect pool widens. Could it be someone from the community he embraced in Madison, or someone closer to home? The odds are 50/50 in each direction, so Rhonda must decide which way to look.
