Dressed as Bonnie and Clyde, Rhonda and her husband are on their way to a Halloween party, when they witness a drive by shooting. The man who is shot is John Richardson, who is handing out candy dressed up as a scarecrow with a jack-o-lantern covering his face. Going into detective mode, completely unaware of how she is dressed, she calls in the crime and rushes to the scene. To her dismay, she soon learns John is in the hospital and his grandson, Sean, has taken his place. Joined by her partner, Phil, Rhonda must decide if the intended victim is John or his beloved grandson. No matter which one it is, why would anyone want to take either of their lives?
