Bellingham, Washington was a quietly ordinary border town till a serial killer surfaced. Driven by a supernatural need to kill and carve, he would first find and stalk his victim but then explain why the woman must die before the sacrifice to his dark deity. However two sibling detectives are dedicated to find and stop the unknown butcher but with various kinds of help--both bad and good. One genuine problem is that there are many males who fit the profile and the hunter has targeted the detective's sister.
