Penelope (Penny) Higgins has been writing poetry since she was seven years old. She has written several children's stories, including "Oscar, the Mighty Crab", "There's A Bear in My Bed" and "The Regimarilla from Regimarazz". Penny is a retired teacher. She lives in a small retirement community in Oregon where she keeps busy doing volunteer work, and arts and crafts. She has two sons, and a daughter-in-law, five wonderful grandchildren and a special great granddaughter.
