This volume of the Fontes Rerum Austriacarum II series presents three comprehensive financial reports from senior members of the imperial treasury, the Hofkammer. Requested by emperor Leopold I, these reports were produced in relation to the criminal proceedings against Georg Ludwig Sinzendorf in 1680, who held the office of the president of the Hofkammer at the time.
This edition is of particular interest as the reports also provide further insight into the structure and operations of the authorities during the rule of emperor Leopold I. In some respects this information could be considered subjective descriptions of individual country surveys of three members of the Hofkammer.
