The RiPPLE anthology has become a mainstay at Kingston University, an annual showcase of creativity. In this 17th edition we celebrate not only poetry, prose and playwriting but also painting and photography, with contributions from students throughout Kingston School of Art. Together the judges have selected the very best of the work submitted to the competition.
For some of our writers it's been a lifelong habit, while for others the recent lockdown has been the inspiration to create.
The slimness of the volume belies its content and the range of voices within: from the quiet introspection of 'How I felt this morning' to the violence of 'Drum'.
