CATHERINE ULRICH BRAKEFIELD says, "My readers inspire my writing!" She is an ardent receiver of Christ's rejuvenating love, as well as a hopeless romantic and patriot. She skillfully intertwines these elements into her writing. She is the author of the inspirational historical romances Wilted Dandelions and Swept into Destiny, the first of a four-part series. Her other books include The Wind of Destiny, and the pictorial history books Images of America: The Lapeer Area, and Images of America: Eastern Lapeer County.
