This is a selection of the poetry of Liam Ó Muirthile, one of the foremost poets currently writing in the Irish language. Along with the original version of the poem comes a translation into English. The chief tranlator is Gabriel Rosenstock, a fellow poet and contemporary, but translations by others such as Greg Delanty, Paul Muldoon, Ciaran Carson, Peter Sirr Bernard O'Donoghue, Dermot Bolger and others also feature.
